Seattle hockey fans can’t wait to rep the Kraken.
After the NHL’s newest team released its highly-anticipated nickname on Thursday, Kraken fans flocked to the team’s website to get their tentacles—I mean hands, on some gear featuring the franchise’s four blue colors with a dash of red.

According to NHL.com, the Seattle Kraken became the best-selling expansion team in league history in terms of total merchandise sales. The 32nd NHL franchise is also the top-selling sports team in the past 24 hours on Fanatics.
The Kraken, who will join the Pacific Division, shattered the record set by the Las Vegas Golden Knights in 2017 by over 50 percent, per Fanatics.
On the site, you can choose from items like the Kraken Navy Distressed T-Shirt, the Kraken Black Core Flex Hat and the Kraken Navy Primary Logo V-Neck Hoodie, and your swag moment comes with an added bonus.
The team on Thursday announced its own e-commerce store, www.releasethekrakenstore.com, would sell merchandise with “Release the Kraken!” on it.
The Seattle Kraken will invest 100 percent of net proceeds into the community, partnering with YouthCare to end youth homelessness, along with other nonprofits serving the underserved Black, Indigenous and People of Color in the Greater Seattle region.
