Looking back at who the Seattle Seahawks drafted this weekend
Round 1 - Rashaad Penny (RB)
The Sehawks traded back in the first round shipping the #18 and #248 (7th Round) picks to Green Bay in exchange for the #27 (1st Round), #76 (3rd round), and #186 (6th Round).
With that #27 pick they took Rashaad Penny, a running back out of San Diego State. This is only the third time the Seahawks have used a first round pick on a running back in fanchise history.
Round 3 - Rasheem Green (DE)
The wheeling and dealing continued in the third round as Seattle sent the #76 pick to Pittsburgh for the #79 and #220 (Round 7) pick.
After trading down again, Seattle took Rasheem Green, a defensive end out of USC. He is a 6'4'', 275lb who was first team All-Pac-12 last season.
Round 5 - Shaquem Griffin (LB)
The feel good story of the weekend was the Seahawks selection of of LB Shaquem Griffin from UCF who is now reunited with his twin brother, Shaquill Griffin.
The story doesn't end there as Shaquem plays with an amputated left hand and has been a huge insipiration to many throughout his journey to the NFL.
