Numbers you should know from the Seahawks’ win over the 49ers
Seahawks defeat 49ers 43-16 in Seattle, WA
The Seattle Seahawks (7-5) picked up another win in their hunt for the playoffs 43-16 over division rival the San Francisco 49ers (2-10). This was an all-around impressive performance from the Seahawks, but lets highlight a few numbers that stood out, according to Daniel Rymer of Pro Football Focus.

QB - Russell Wilson
Russell Wilson earned an overall grade of 64.3, ranking 12th among quarterbacks for the week. When kept clean, Wilson completed 8-of-11 attempts for 111 yards, one touchdown, no interceptions and a passer rating of 135.0. When pressured, Wilson went 3-for-6 for 74 yards, three touchdowns, no interceptions and a passer rating of 134.7. When throwing deep (20+ yards downfield), Wilson completed 3-of-4 attempts for 115 yards and two touchdowns.
RB - Chris Carson, Rashaad Penny
Chris Carson earned an overall grade of 87.2, ranking second on the Seahawks' offense this week (and first among all NFL RBs). He forced four missed tackles on 13 attempts and averaged 3.0 yards after contact per attempt. He also had two runs of 10+ yards and ran for four first downs. Rashaad Penny forced two missed tackles on seven attempts and averaged 4.14 yards after contact per attempt. Penny had three runs of 10+ yards and ran for three first downs (including one touchdown).
LB - Bobby Wagner
Bobby Wagner earned an overall grade of 96.6, which is his highest single-game grade of the season. On seven pass-rush snaps, Wagner generated three pressures (two hits, one sack). He was targeted five times in coverage and allowed three receptions for 20 yards, had one pick-six and one pass-breakup. Wagner is the only linebacker with elite grades (90+) in run defense, tackling, pass-rushing, and coverage; no other linebacker has elite grades in more than one category.
DL - Poona Ford
Poona Ford played a career-high 28 total snaps and earned an overall grade of 89.7, ranking second on the Seahawks' defense this week. He recorded one pressure on 13 pass-rush snaps and four run stops on 14 run defense snaps. Ford now has an overall grade of 83.5 on the season, which would rank 16th among interior defenders if he had enough snaps to qualify. He has played only 130 total snaps this season.
