For those who forgot, DK Metcalf is superhuman.
The Seattle Seahawks receiver has an insane skillset, whether it’s his warp speed running a 4.33 at the NFL Combine, his tremendous size at 6-foot-4, 229 pounds, or his raw physical skills and deep threat impact on the field.
Like this time when caught Metcalf leaping above the crossbar of an NFL goalpost to catch the ball one-handed.
If that wasn’t impressive enough, the second-year wideout is now showing off his 42-inch lateral hurdle jumps, and all we can say is WOW.
.@dkm14 doing 42 inch Lateral Hurdle Jumps! He is a unreal talent but what’s more impressive is his work ethic. Don’t try this at home.. 👀#Bunnies #RealBounce #NFLOffSeasonGrind @brgridiron @BleacherReport @espn @SportsCenter pic.twitter.com/OzlAlZXCeU— Tracy Ford (@TFordFSP) July 22, 2020
There’s no way, right? DK’s literally 76 inches tall and doing 42-inch lateral box jumps. This feels like something a human shouldn’t be able to do. I guess with the right training, you can be a superhero if you want.
But despite being a freak of nature, it sounds like Metcalf wouldn’t mind improving his Madden speed rating too.
“Stop playing,” he said. “I need to run to the 40 again huh?”
Stop playing, 😂 I need to run the 40 again huh? https://t.co/sMVoQo3flh— DK Metcalf (@dkm14) July 17, 2020
Metcalf had 58 catches for 900 yards and seven touchdowns in his jaw-dropping rookie season. Will 2020 be the year Metcalf becomes a Pro Bowler in his second season as a pro? One thing is clear, he’ll be feasting on opposing offenses all season long.
