Football is now in session, rooks.

Before the Seattle Seahawks 2020 rookie draft class reported for their first day of training camp, there was some business to be taken care of.

After previously signing fourth-round pick Colby Parkinson and sixth-rounder Freddie Swain, the Seahawks announced Tuesday they have signed their remaining six 2020 draft class members.

First-round pick Jordyn Brooks, second-round pick Darrell Taylor, third-round pick Damien Lewis, fourth-round pick DeeJay Dallas, fifth-round pick Alton Robinson and seventh-round pick Stephen Sullivan all inked their respective rookie contracts.

Taylor and Dallas confirmed their signings in posts on Twitter and recounted the surreal moment they officially became a Seahawk.

I can officially say that I’m a Seattle Seahawk! Didn’t feel official until I signed that dotted line. Thank you! @Seahawks you won’t regret the decision you made drafting me! To my family, thank you for being there every step of the way and supporting me thru everything!”  -- Darrell Taylor

Now that Seattle’s rookies have signed on the dotted line, they, along with the veterans, will report to the VMAC for COVID-19 testing. Seattle will continue to test its players throughout this week before physicals take place.

The Seahawks will begin strength and conditioning work during the first week of August.
