For the second time during the 2021 WNBA Draft, the Seattle Storm selected a player from Texas A&M.
However, unlike Aaliyah Wilson who was promptly traded, Seattle appears to be keeping N'Dea Jones, the forward selected 23rd overall Thursday evening.
Jones averaged 12.1 points and 10.3 rebounds while shooting 51.8% from the field.
She's the all-time leader in both rebounding (1,026) and double-doubles (41) in Aggies program history. She signed with Texas A&M as a four-star recruit and the nation's No. 18 forward and No. 79 overall player.
As a senior, she was a Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Katrina McClain Award semifinalist for the nation’s top power forward along with being an All-SEC First Team honoree.
Seattle also drafted Natalie Kucowski, forward out of Lafayette during the event.
