Oregon coach Mario Cristobal says that Jalen Hall is no longer on the team, officially. The 4-star wide receiver was arrested this week for home invasion robbery in Southern California.
"Well he hasn’t been on the roster for a pretty long time now," said Cristobal. "We’re moving on and certainly it is what it is."
Hall, a 6-foot-3 receiver from Long Beach, California, who was rated the ninth-best player at his position in the 2018 class. He enrolled early for spring football, but only took part in one practice before leaving for what were called "personal reasons". When he left, Cristobal expected Hall to return.
Hall marks the fourth wide receiver to depart the Oregon roster since 2017; Malik Lovette transferred, Darrian McNeal and Alex Ofodile left the program in the spring.
