Charles Barkley was forced to eat some crow on the set of TNT's "Inside the NBA."

Prior to Game 1 between the Trail Blazers and Lakers, Barkley proclaimed Portland would sweep the series if they took the opening game.

The Blazers upset the Lakers 100-93, which led to Barkley bringing out the broom!

Well, in Game 2, the Lakers had their way with Portland, blowing out the Blazers 111-88.

Laker Nation was certainly fuming over Barkley rubbing the broom in their faces after Game 1, including Barkley's colleague Shaquille O'Neal.

That's right! Shaq broke a broomstick over his knee and slammed it on the desk in front of Barkley.

"Don't you ever disrespect Laker Nation, you understand me?"

Barkley is sticking with his pick, though, pleading with Damian Lillard, who suffered a dislocated left index finger in Game 2, to put some duct tape on his finger and he'll be good to go.

Lillard will likely wear a splint for Game 3, which tips off at 5:30pm Saturday.

It was a bold prediction.
