Brooke Olzendam channels inner CJ McCollum by becoming a shark herself

Few players have had a better start to the 2020-21 NBA season than Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum.

The Portland shooting guard has averaged 28.1 points (2nd in the NBA), 4.1 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game while shooting 47.6% from the floor and an outstanding 44.5% from three-point range.

After hitting a game-winner against Toronto Monday evening, McCollum likened himself to a shark, a metaphor he's used numerous times to describe his offensive game in the NBA.

"I'm a killer. Figure out ways to eat," said McCollum. "That's what best describes me. Sharks just go hunt. Don't worry about things. Never worry about how they get next meal. Don't worry about anything, that's how I live my life"

So, it's only right that Trail Blazers sideline reporter and host Brooke Olzendam homaged McCollum's alter ego on the court during the Blazers contest against Sacramento on Wednesday.

Blazers Twitter could not have loved Brooke's new look any more.

After going viral, Brooke apologized but it's unclear for what, besides stealing the show.
