As future Hall of Famer Carmelo Anthony looks to figure out his basketball future while becoming a free agent this summer, his life at home is about to change.
After 11 years of marriage, Anthony’s wife La La has filed for divorce in New York, per eonline.com.
According to TMZ Sports, the couple had been separated for a while now.
The two have a 14-year-old son together, Kiyan.
After 18 seasons in the NBA and at age 37, Melo hasn’t yet said it’s time to hang it up.
And from the looks of the 2020-21 Trail Blazers season, he’s still got plenty of game left.
It was last Nov. when Anthony signed a one-year deal to remain with the Blazers. He averaged 13.4 points and 3.1 rebounds in 69 regular season games played coming off the bench for the first time in his career.
