The Trail Blazers will have to wait at least another two weeks before seeing CJ McCollum back on the court.
Tuesday, McCollum had his left foot re-evaluated after suffering a left mid-foot fracture on January 16 against the Atlanta Hawks.
Trail Blazers president of basketball operations, Neil Olshey, gave the latest update on McCollum, announcing that the Blazers starting shooting guard, “continues to progress in his return to action.”
The team also stated in a press release that:
Before suffering the foot sprain, McCollum was off to his best start in his career, averaging 26.7 points on 47.3% FG including 44.1% from three to go along with 3.9 rebounds and 5.0 assists through 13 games.
"I don’t have a timeline. I’ll return when I feel like myself," explained McCollum on January 19th.
