When CJ McCollum’s first wine under his own brand, Heritage 91, sold out in less than an hour in its debut, you knew his next wine release was going to be major.
The Trail Blazers guard announced Monday that his newest wine, the Heritage 91 2020 Rosé created in partnership with Adelsheim wines, will be released Monday, April 5 at 9:00 a.m.
Yes way, Rosé.
Mark your calendar, set your alarms, because you know the pink-hued wine is going to go fast.
McCollum's latest wine release will be a Willamette Valley Rosé that he collaborated on with Adelsheim winemaker Gina Hennen.
In a press release earlier this month, the Trail Blazers star said he was “incredibly humbled” by the positive response following the release of his first vintage McCollum Heritage 91, a Willamette Valley Pinot Noir.
“I was not prepared for the outpouring of support from my family, friends, colleagues, fans and wine lovers,” McCollum said. “Based on what we saw this fall, it is abundantly clear that there is a demand for stories from brands like McCollum Heritage 91, and I’m eager to share the next iteration of our wine this spring.”
According to the McCollum Heritage 91 website, the Rosé has “lovely aromas of fresh strawberry, white peach, and lemon verbena lift out of the glass. The palate is smooth and supple, the plushness supported by a refreshing core of acid-driven firmness.”
Just imagine sitting outside on the deck, basking in the sun and sipping on a crisp, bright glass of Rosé in the Portland spring weather. The best part? It has a twist top, so you can keep the Rosé flowing with ease and glass always full.
Rosé all day is exactly right, CJ.
