Well, it looks like CJ McCollum's second wine release went just as well as the first one.
On April 5 starting at 9 a.m. PT, McCollum's Willamette Valley Rosé from his wine label, McCollum Heritage 91, went on sale. It didn't last long at all.
In fact, it only took three hours for McCollum to sell off all of his rosé. That didn't go quite as quickly as his first wine release, which sold out in under two hours, but it's still great news for McCollum that his wine has been so popular.
It's easy to understand why the rosé went so quickly. The McCollum Heritage 91 website described it as having: "lovely aromas of fresh strawberry, white peach, and lemon verbena lift out of the glass. The palate is smooth and supple, the plushness supported by a refreshing core of acid-driven firmness."
Man does that sound good, especially with sunshine spring weather now arriving.
In a press release earlier this month, the Trail Blazers star said he was “incredibly humbled” by the positive response following the release of his first vintage McCollum Heritage 91, a Willamette Valley Pinot Noir.
Safe to say that he'll have similar feelings about his latest successful release.
