CJ McCollum’s signature wine McCollum Heritage 91 went live at 8am Tuesday.

And it was sold out in less than two hours.

The limited release of McCollum’s pinot noir had social media buzzing.

There was a limit of six bottles per person at mccollumheritage91.com.

Some wine enthusiasts or maybe just occasional wine drinkers that are big Trail Blazers fans were lucky enough to snag a bottle or two.

Others were not so lucky.

And McCollum let them know that they have to have a quicker first step to steal a bottle.

There were only 133 cases made available in the first round of production.

CJ’s pinot features a taste of cedar and cherry.

McCollum partnered with Adelsheim Vineyard to bring his dream of creating his own wine to life. Heritage 91 was harvested in late Sept. of 2018 and was bottled on Aug. 8, 2019.

Cheers to those who were fortunate enough to snag a bottle of McCollum Heritage 91!

Now we'll all be on the lookout for the next release.
