Damian Lillard will be featured in Space Jam: A New Legacy which will premiere on July 16, starring LeBron James.
Although James is the main character, Lillard will not only act in the film, but also be featured on the soundtrack as Dame D.O.L.L.A.
Lillard, who plays Chronos in the film, is the only actor and athlete to appear on the original song "About That Time" featuring G-Eazy, P-Lo and White Dave.
"We knew that with the soundtrack for this one, that whole idea of making a soundtrack for this generation, but still having that melting pot, was something we all really wanted," Spencer Beighley, head of film at LeBron James' production company SpringHill, said in a feature for Billboard.
The six-time All-Star being featured in the movie and on the soundtrack shouldn’t come off as much of a surprise. Holding multiple roles is what he’s used, especially when he can bring more attention to a skill he’s not really known for.
It'll be a nice opportunity for moviegoers to take in Lillard's rhyming skills next to some notable artists.
