When the game is on the line and the ball is in Damian Lillard’s hands, never count Portland out.
The Trail Blazers guard reminded the NBA once again why they need to put respect on his name.
With the Blazers down 17 points to the Pelicans with 6 minutes left in Tuesday’s game, the clock struck Lillard Time once again. Portland went on a 25-7 run to end the game, Lillard scoring or assisting on 18 of those points to help the Trail Blazers secure the come-from-behind victory 125-124.
Lillard dished out a 50-piece while adding 10 assists. He was 13-20 from the floor, 6-13 from three-point range and a perfect 18-18 from the free-throw line.
The Portland legend had the whole NBA talking after another MVP like performance.
It was another fourth quarter masterclass from the point God himself. Dame is simply not human, but Portland fans wouldn't have it any other way.
