For Portland Trail Blazers point guard, Damian Lillard, he decided to operate a car dealership with longtime friend and business partner, Brian Sanders.
Lillard is now the co-owner of the Toyota dealership in McMinnville and according to a Toyota representative, "infused his style into the facility by overseeing the installation of custom Pop-A-Shot games, themed ping pong tables, autographed memorabilia and more."
Additionally, at the ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday, the McMinnville mayor officially declared Oct. 1 as "Damian Lillard Day" in "recognition of Damian's long-standing, beloved presence in Oregon," stated the Toyota representative.Â
Anyone that buys a car from his dealership with enter the "Damian Lillard VIP Club" which gives preferred access to Lillard visits and events, opportunities to win meet-and-greets/photo ops with Dame, exclusive offers too attend Trail Blazers games, VIP experience with Yamhill Country wineries, Evergreen Space Museum, opportunities to win tickets to Portland Timbers matches or Portland area concerts, and once per year Dame will invite 40 customers at random to be his guest at a game in the 100 level section.Â
