During this shortened offseason, Trail Blazers All-Star Damian Lillard has been working out with former teammates.
Last October, Evan Turner and Tim Frazier were looking to set themselves up for success while training with Lillard and
NBA trainer extraordinaire Phil Beckner.
Lillard even gave the two more motivation while joking with Turner and Frazier, who are both currently looking for a new landing spot in the NBA, saying, “let’s work like we don’t have a job.”
ET described the scene in very ET fashion and it was amazing, per usual:
The group was able to get in a good sweat session. Now, thanks to Beckner posting a recent video, we know that Turner is taking after Lillard.
It is Logo Turner time!?
Turner’s celebration might be better than the actual halfcourt shot.
Last season, the former Trail Blazers wing averaged 3.3 points and 2.0 rebounds in 19 games played while averaging 13.2 minutes of action.
But now will we see Turner on a new team with Lillard range?
That'd be fun!
And a little crazy because we know ET doesn't have much range as a 29.4 percent three-point career shooter. Which Lillard seemed to acknowledge in his Twitter response to the Logo Turner video.
