Le'Veon Bell is once again on the open market.
The disgruntled running back was released by the New York Jets after a tumultuous tenure in NYC.
Bell played in 17 games over two seasons with the Jets, rushing for 863 yards and three touchdowns.
He never meshed with the team and fell far short of the numbers he put up with the Steelers.
When in prime form, Bell is one of the best dual-threat backs in the league.
So which team will take a flyer on this reclamation project?
Trail Blazers' star Damian Lillard has an idea...
The Oakland native wants Bell to join Josh Jacobs on the team that used to call Oakland home, the Las Vegas Raiders.
Bell would be a great addition to pair with the power back running style of Jacobs, and give quarterback Derek Carr an incredibly talented weapon in the passing game.
You only have to go back to 2017 to see Bell was one of the best backs in the game. That season Bell rushed for 1,219 yards and nine touchdowns, while adding 655 yards and two touchdowns receiving.
While he would be a great add to Lillard's Raiders, it doesn't look like Las Vegas is an option.
Jerry Fowler of ESPN is reporting that the Dolphins, Chiefs, and Bills are the three teams currently on Bell's list.
Even if the Raiders aren't on the list, it doesn't mean Bell won't end up wearing black and silver when it's all said and done.
Lillard wants it to happen, and a fan can dream... Just let the fans dream.
