As the NBA world has taken notice of Damian Lillard and Lillard Time during Portland’s current five-game winning streak, it sounds like the Trail Blazers superstar is going to once again compete in the NBA’s three-point contest.
According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, Lillard will participate in this year's three-point shootout in Atlanta on March 7.
Both the Three-Point Contest and Skills Challenge will reportedly take place before the 2020-21 All-Star game, while the Slam Dunk Contest is slated for halftime of the game.
This will be Lillard's third time participating in the contest after having to withdraw from it last season due to a right groin strain that he suffered on the road against the Grizzlies right before the All-Star break.
Lillard is also on his way to earning his sixth All-Star nod.
The Trail Blazers point guard currently ranks fourth in the NBA in scoring, averaging 29.3 points per game.
He’s also third in the league in 3-pointers made with 105 makes while hitting 38% from behind the arc.
