Postgame Update: Following Thursday's loss, Blazers head coach Terry Stotts informed the media that Jones Jr.'s x-rays on his left foot "were clear."

The Portland Trail Blazers are in a close battle with the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, but will have to finish the final stretch of play without Derrick Jones Jr.

Jones Jr. was dealing with a left quad contusion last Monday vs. the Oklahoma City Thunder, but was cleared to play against the Rockets on Thursday.

Portland is at the beginning of a six-game road trip and will play the Chicago Bulls in the Windy City on Saturday, January 30 at 5 p.m. (PT).
