Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is making bold predictions these days.
The 31-year-old took to Twitter over the weekend to share in his vision that he sees Portland Trail Blazers All-Star point guard Damian Lillard playing for the Miami Heat at some point in Lillard's career.
That tweet popped up on timelines across the country following the Heat’s Game 5 victory.
And it was Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic for the win with the best reply that really showcased what most in Rip City were feeling at that moment.
Now keep in mind, Bryant is big time re-tweeter, but apparently this was just something he had to get off his chest. The 3-time Pro Bowler hasn’t played in the NFL since 2017.

And with his prediction on Lillard, he didn’t have any other insight to go along with it.
But, it sure did get people talking on Twitter.
Of course the Heat would absolutely love to have Lillard running alongside Jimmy Butler as they try to make it back to the NBA Finals, but here’s something to keep in mind -- Lillard signed a four-year supermax deal with Portland that’s expected to pay him $196 million.
The final year of Lillard’s new deal won’t be up until the 2024-25 season, which is a player option that Lillard will most likely pick up, considering that he’d bring in over $54 million.
So there’s that. And…
Evidently, Bryant has never listened to Dame D.O.L.L.A.’s ‘Loyal to the Soil. ‘
It’s also worth noting, Bryant’s Game 6 prediction of the Heat defeating the Lakers and it being a good game Sunday… Well, that didn’t age very well.
So, maybe predicting the future isn’t what Bryant does best in his post-NFL career.
