With limited recent draft capital, the 2021 Blazers summer league roster was fairly unimportant in the grand scheme of things.
However, these five games have shown why Portland traded into the second round to take Greg Brown III, an uber athletic 6’9” forward out of Texas.
During the Blazers summer league finale, Brown III received the ball in the open court and rather than lay it up or even throw it down, he performed a between-the-legs dunk DURING THE GAME.
Even LeBron James was impressed.
Brown didn’t stop there either with other impressive flashes of his athleticism popping up throughout the game.
While Brown III likely won’t be a rotation player for a few seasons, it’s easy to see why the Blazers are high enough in him to secure his bird rights.
The Blazers would eventually lose the final Summer League contest, 95-92, but Brown definitely made the finale a fun one!
