Who doesn’t love the lineage that runs deep in the NBA!?
With throwback photos and social media these days – the two are a great combination.
Former Trail Blazers big man Mychal Thompson posted a photo this week of himself and his son rocking NBA jerseys.
Klay Thompson was in elementary school at the time.
And he was rocking a Trail Blazers uniform, of course.
While, Mychal sports his Los Angeles Lakers jersey, where he played from 1987-91.
Who would’ve known back then when this picture was taken that it could have NBA fan bases in an uproar on Twitter?
At least, Mychal captions the photo saying, “Guess I shudda had him in a Warriors jersey,” just to appease Golden State fans.
But hey, Klay can always rep Rip City since his father was selected first overall by Portland in the 1978 NBA draft and Klay grew up in Lake Oswego, OR.
However, the real question is...
How much Trail Blazers memorable does Klay still own?
He’ll probably never let anyone know if he still has that classic black Blazers jersey.
Also, Mychal Thompson Googling himself in a roundabout way is amazing.
Okay Google -- who are ‘Klay Thompson’s parents?’
