As the Trail Blazers prepare to tip-off their final game of their current five-game homestand, Portland will be without two bench players.
The team announced less than two hours to tip-off against the Brooklyn Nets that Anfernee Simons and Nassir Little are out for Tuesday’s game due to health and safety protocols.
Little and Simons were not on the initial injury report that was sent out Monday afternoon that listed Jusuf Nurkic (right calf strain) and Zach Collins (left ankle stress fracture) out.
Little has earned a spot in the rotation since CJ McCollum returned to action last week. The second-year player has averaged 17.9 minutes per game in his last 10 contests.
The Nets will also be shorthanded Tuesday night.
Brooklyn has listed James Harden (neck; soreness) as questionable, while Spencer Dinwiddie (right knee; partially torn ACL), Kevin Durant (left hamstring; strain), Kyrie Irving (personal reasons), Alize Johnson (not with team) and Landry Shamet (right ankle; sprain) are out.
The Trail Blazers and Nets will tip-off at 7:00 p.m. PST on NBCSNW, the official network of the Portland Trail Blazers.
