Damian Lillard said he didn't want to waste his time in Orlando and after Portland's win over Memphis on Saturday, he's done just that.

The Portland Trail Blazers have qualified for the postseason for the seventh-consecutive season, but they aren't finished yet as Damian Lillard believes they can beat anybody.

I mean, I think the reason why we competed so hard, the reason why we fought so hard to get into the playoffs is because we feel like we’re capable of doing anything. We can beat anybody, so now we just gotta get rested and get ready for the next thing. You know our work is just beginning. -- Damian Lillard said after Saturday's win

Do oddsmakers agree with Lillard? To an extent.

The Los Angeles Lakers are 5.5-point favorites against Portland in Tuesday's Game 1 in Caesars Casino & Sportsbook with a Lakers money line of -240 while Portland is +200. It opened at Lakers -5 in many books and appears to have moved to 5.5 in places such as Caesars.

The game has an over/under of 229.5 points.

As for odds to win the series overall, the Lakers are -550 and Portland is +425 per Vegas Insider. Oddsmakers think it is more likely that the Blazers win the series (+425) against the Lakers than fellow eighth seed Orlando winning Game 1 against Milwaukee (+550.)

FiveThirtyEight predictions give the Trail Blazers a 9% chance of winning the series, 2% chance of making the Western Conference Finals again, and <1% of winning the West and winning the NBA Finals.

Now for player props, Damian Lillard has over/under's of 35.5 points and 8.5 assists. He averaged 37.6 points and 9.6 assists in the eight seeding games, and 36.0 points and 9.0 assists against the Lakers this season.

As for other Blazers, CJ McCollum has an over/under of 22.5 points and Carmelo Anthony has one of 14.5 points. CJ averaged 17.3 versus Los Angeles this season and Melo averaged 14.0 points, but didn't play in the last matchup after the death of Kobe Bryant.
