Just moments after the Portland Trail Blazers suffered a close 113-112 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers at Moda Center, a report surfaced that the Blazers will have some reinforcements on their second night of a back-to-back.

Before the Blazers take on the Denver Nuggets, Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports is reporting that Damian Lillard plans to return Wednesday.

Blazers coach Terry Stotts was not able to confirm this report. When asked if he had any additional intel on Lillard's return following Tuesday's loss, he replied "no."

Lillard has been sidelined for three-straight games with right hamstring tendinopathy. He is averaging 28.7 points per game, 4.2 rebounds and 7.7 assists in 35.9 minutes for Portland.

The return of the Blazers star is certainly a welcomed addition as Portland has just 15 games left in the regular season. The Trail Blazers are currently 32-24 and in sixth place in the Western Conference playoff race.
