The NBA season is beginning to take shape.
On the heels of the NBA Draft and free agency, players will be making their way to NBA practice facilities to begin the 2020-21 campaign.
Players can already work out in individual capacity, following COVID-19 safety protocols, but full team activities are set to begin on December 6th.
The learning curve for new additions and reacclimating period for established rosters will be steep, as the preseason will begin less than a week after full team activities begin.
Shams Charania released the full NBA preseason schedule Friday:
In order to reduce the potential spread of COVID-19, the NBA has scheduled each team to play two games against regionally friendly opponents for a total of four preseason games.
The Trail Blazers will host the Sacramento Kings on December 11th and December 13th. Remember, Hassan Whiteside signed a minimum deal with the Kings earlier this week. Plus, newly signed big man Harry Giles will get to face his former squad.
Portland will then travel to Denver to play the Nuggets on December 16th and 18th ahead of the start of the season, which is slated to begin on December 22nd.
Full schedule (Times in PST):
Trail Blazers vs. Sacramento Kings: December 11th at 7pm
Trail Blazers vs. Sacramento Kings: December 13th at 6pm
Trail Blazers at Denver Nuggets: December 16th at 6pm
Trail Blazers at Denver Nuggets: December 18th at 6pm
All four preseason games will be televised by NBC Sports Northwest (NBCSNW), the Official Network of the Portland Trail Blazers.
