The Portland Trail Blazers are going virtual once again.
In honor of Black History Month, the Trail Blazers announced that they will hold their first ever virtual celebration of Black History Night during the Blazers and Wizards game at Moda Center on Feb. 20, while the Portland and Cleveland contest on Feb. 12 at Moda Center will focus on Black Health Issues.
Throughout the entire month, the Blazers will host several other initiatives, along with encouraging engagement and raising awareness while extending their support to the Black community.
This year, the Blazers’ Black History Month outreach will connect with local organizations that advocate for the Portland Black community.
Along with the Black History Month-themed games, the Blazers organization will host virtual events and fan engagement opportunities with prizes for fans to win and much more.
“We are dedicated to continuing our efforts to support the Black community for Black History Month and every month that follows.” For more information around the Celebration of Black History game and for more on how the Trail Blazers are honoring Black History Month, visit trailblazers.com/BHM.
