With the Portland Trail Blazers tipping off the 2021-22 preseason slate on Oct. 4 at home against the Golden State Warriors, Trail Blazers fans will get a sneak peek at this year’s squad a couple of days earlier.

The team announced this week that the annual intra-squad scrimmage, Fan Fest, is returning this season.

Fan Fest will be held on Saturday, Oct. 2 with the scrimmage starting at 3:30p.m. PT.

Fans can register online for a free ticket. Seating is General Admission so, as in years past, fans will want to get to Moda Center early for the best seats.

Doors will open at 2:30p.m. PT and open practice will start at 2:45p.m. PT.

Upon entry to Fan Fest fans will be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test within 72 hours of the event. This will be the same protocol for all home Trail Blazers games during the 2021-22 season.

Not only will Rip City get its first look at the 2021-22 team and new coaching staff, but there will also be prizes handed out as fans enjoy the behind-the-scenes look at the team’s practice.

Training camp is slated to start on Sept. 28.
