As the NBA continues to manage COVID-19 related issues and contact tracing, the Portland Trail Blazers made an announcement about Wednesday’s postponed game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Portland was set to tip-off two straight games against the Memphis Grizzlies beginning Wednesday.
But due to the Grizzlies’ ongoing contact tracing, Wednesday’s game was postponed with Memphis not having the league-minimum of eight players available to play in a game.
The Blazers announced that Wednesday’s game will be rescheduled for the Second Half of the season.
The Trail Blazers Jan. 20 game against the Grizzlies was slated to be the first of three meetings between the two this season with the second immediately following on Jan. 22 and the third one scheduled for the Second Half of the season.
There has been no word yet on the Jan. 22 matchup against the Grizzlies.
The Blazers next game is slated for Sunday, Jan. 24 versus the New York Knicks at Moda Center.
