Do you believe in coincidences? Or does everything happen for a reason?

Monday, 8/24, is Kobe Bryant Day.

A way to honor the legendary Black Mamba with the two numbers he wore while playing with the Lakers.

The Lakers are wearing “Black Mamba,” City Edition jerseys to honor Bryant, who would have turned 42 on August 23. Los Angeles' jerseys will also have a special patch with a white heart and the No. 2 to honor his daughter, Gianna.

The jersey was designed by Kobe Bryant and first unveiled during the 2017-18 season. The black alternate jersey featured shadowbox numbers, a snakeskin-esque print and includes 16 stars on the side panels to represent each of the Lakers’ 16 championships.

To mark the day, Trail Blazers 5x All-Star guard Damian Lillard showed his support for Bryant’s legacy by sporting customized shoes with a “8” and “24” on the back.

But, something incredible happened Monday night, and it came by way of the first quarter score.

While this score may make Trail Blazers fans cringe, it is an incredible coincidence.

It seems as if the Black Mamba is in the building In Orlando, Florida.
