The World Figure Skating Championships featured historic performances, thrilling comebacks and heartbreak in Shanghai this week.

Catch up on the action on NBC and NBC Sports Live Extra on Saturday from 8-10 p.m. ET. Terry Gannon, Tara Lipinski, Johnny Weir and Tracy Wilson are on the call.

The show will feature the women and ice dance competitions.

Russian Elizaveta Tuktamysheva went from 10th in her country last season to best in the world this year. She threw a triple Axel, rare for the women, in the short program en route to one of the most dominant victories in recent history.

Americans just missed the medals, with Gracie Gold fourth and Ashley Wagner fifth.

U.S. ice dance champions Madison Chock and Evan Bates led after the short dance, but a French couple surprised in the free skate to claim the title.
