Watch trailer for Gabby Douglas family TV series

A trailer for “Douglas Family Gold,” an Oxygen TV docu-series chronicling Gabby Douglas and her family’s journey toward a potential second Olympics, has been published ahead of its May 25 premiere.

“This time, as Gabby trains tirelessly in Ohio with her grandmother by her side, the rest of the family keeps busy juggling Gabby’s business and their own lives back in California,” an Oxygen press release said in March.

The show includes Douglas’ mother, Natalie Hawkins, sisters Arielle “Arie” Hawkins, Joyelle “Joy” Douglas, brother Johnathan Douglas and grandmother Carolyn Ford.

In the trailer, Douglas is seen at last year’s P&G Championships in August and with her Ohio-based coach, Kittia Carpenter.

Douglas is attempting this year to become the first Olympic all-around champion to compete in the following Games since Nadia Comaneci in 1980.

She earned silver behind Simone Biles in the 2015 World Championships all-around after taking all of 2013 and 2014 off from competition.

Douglas opened her year by winning the all-around at her first two meets in March.
