Go behind the scenes of the U.S. Paralympic sledge hockey team’s journey to a gold medal in Sochi with “Ice Warriors,” on NBCSN on Tuesday at 10:45 p.m. ET.

The documentary looks at the 17 men who teamed to become the first nation to repeat as Paralympic sledge hockey gold medalists last March.

The U.S. blanked host Russia 1-0 in the final. Josh Sweeney, a retired U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant and a Purple Heart recipient, scored the goal.

Sweeney’s story is one of many told in the documentary. Go here for more information on “Ice Warriors.”

The U.S. hosts the IPC Sledge Hockey World Championships in Buffalo from April 24-May 2.
