Jennifer Wu became the second athlete to qualify for the 2016 U.S. Olympic team, winning the Pan American Games table tennis title in Toronto on Saturday.

Wu, 25, beat Brazilian Lin Gui 4-3 in the winner-goes-to-Rio final.

Other U.S. men’s and women’s table tennis players can still later qualify for the Rio Games, with no more than two men and two women per nation in the Olympic field.

One American is ranked in the top 200 in the world in table tennis -- 2012 Olympian Lily Zhang, who is No. 94 and lost to Gui in the semifinals in Toronto on Saturday.

The U.S. has never won an Olympic table tennis medal.

Modern pentathlete Nathan Schrimsher became the first member of the 2016 U.S. Olympic team last Sunday.
