If Ryan Lochte’s word is bond, the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo could be out of this world.

The American swimmer, 32, says he hasn’t decided about his future but that his friendly rivalry with Team USA living legend Michael Phelps isn’t going anywhere.

Joining NBC’s Today on Friday morning, Lochte went as far as to “guarantee” Phelps will be competing in Tokyo at age 35.

From NBCOlympics.com:

Lochte said Friday on NBC’s “Today” that his rivalry with Phelps will “definitely” have another chapter at the Tokyo Games in 2020.

Lochte says: “I guarantee he will be there.”
