Men’s biathlon 15km mass start delayed by fog (again)

The men’s biathlon 15km mass start was postponed from Sunday to Monday. The original plan was to kick it off at 1 a.m. ET, but it was delayed again and there isn’t an official target start time yet, Reuters reports.

The reason is simply: there’s a lack of visibility because of fog. Dominant biathlete Martin Fourcade tweeted a photo of the fog and some words of discontent in French:

There are some murmurs that the event will begin at 7 a.m. ET, yet that is by no means an official word. It comes down to a fitting phrase considering the fog, then: we’ll just need to wait and see.
