Michael Phelps’ trial following his DUI arrest, originally scheduled for Nov. 19, has been postponed to Dec. 19, according to Maryland court records.

Phelps was pulled over in Maryland on the early morning of Sept. 30, announced he would attend a six-week program on Oct. 5 and suspended for six months by USA Swimming on Oct. 6. He will not swim at the 2015 World Championships in Kazan, Russia.

Before Phelps’ arrest, he had been scheduled to attend this week’s Association of the National Olympic Committees Awards in Bangkok, according to the Bangkok Post. Awards are being given to the top performers from the London 2012 and Sochi 2014 Olympics.

Phelps is also nominated for USA Swimming’s Golden Goggle Awards, including Male Swimmer of the Year, which will be announced at a Nov. 24 event in New York.
