Beijing Olympic all-around champion Nastia Liukin will be the Indy 500 Grand Marshal on May 24, adding to an already busy schedule for the former decorated gymnast.

Liukin, a junior at New York University, is into the final six of this season’s “Dancing with the Stars,” with the finale set for May 19, five days before the Indy 500.

At the Great American Race, Liukin will take a parade lap around the 2.5-mile Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval and be announced to the crowd prior to the start.

Three-time Indy 500 winner Helio Castroneves won “Dancing with the Stars” in 2007.

Liukin, an NBC Olympics analyst, earned five medals at the 2008 Olympics and nine World Championships medals overall before retiring in 2012.
