Paris’ mayor will submit a resolution expected to be adopted in favor of bidding for the 2024 Olympics on Monday, according to The Associated Press.

A potential Paris 2024 bid won’t be ultimately decided before June, according to the AP.

If Paris bids, it will look to host the Olympics 100 years after its last Games in 1924. Confirmed bidders so far include Boston, Hamburg and Rome.

“A good job was made by the sporting world in explaining why and how [to bid] ... so we are going toward this vote with optimism,” deputy mayor Jean-Francois Martins said, according to Reuters.

Paris last bid for the 2012 Olympics and was considered a favorite but lost to London.

All bids are due to the International Olympic Committee by September. IOC members will vote to choose the 2024 host city in 2017.
