Simone Biles earns first 10s on ‘Dancing with the Stars’

Olympians Simone Biles and Nancy Kerrigan moved into the final eight on “Dancing with the Stars” after a Disney movie-themed episode Monday.

The four-time 2016 Olympic champion Biles earned her first 10s of the season in the fifth week of the show’s 24th season, scoring 38 out of 40 points. It was the second-highest score of the night.

“I think gravity doesn’t apply to you,” judge Bruno Tonioli told Biles afterward.

She and partner Sasha Farber danced to “Moana” with the film’s title actress, Auli’i Cravalho, singing on stage.

Kerrigan, a 1992 and 1994 Olympic figure skating medalist, scored 36 points with partner Artem Chigvintsev, the third-highest score.

Kerrigan and Biles are looking to become the sixth Olympian to win the Mirrorball Trophy in the series’ 24 seasons, joining Kristi Yamaguchi, Apolo Ohno, Shawn Johnson, Meryl Davis and Laurie Hernandez.
