The Tokyo Olympic marathons and race walks, which were moved 500 miles north to Sapporo over heat concerns, have a revised schedule at the new venue.
The distance events will be held at Sapporo Odori Park with 1km and 2km loops for the race walk and a 20km (12.4-mile) loop for the first stage of the marathon. World Athletics and Tokyo 2020 are in discussions for the second half of the course with a decision on overall operations planned by mid-December.
