U.S. men, John Orozco win titles at Pacific Rim Championships

2012 Olympian John Orozco won the all-around title and led the U.S. men to a team victory at the Pacific Rim Championships in Richmond, B.C., on Thursday night.

Orozco scored 87.2 points, prevailing by 2.15 points. Japanese gymnasts were second and third, followed by American Alex Naddour in fourth. Chris Brooks tied for sixth, after winning the event in 2012.

The U.S. men totaled 338.55 points (senior and junior scores), beating Japan by five points to repeat as champions in the biennial event. The competition concludes with individual event finals at the 2010 Olympic speed skating venue on Saturday.
