Usain Bolt on meeting Barack Obama, Beyoncé and the dying fan he won’t forget

Usain Bolt doesn't get nervous often, but meeting President Barack Obama left the record-setting Olympian almost speechless.

If you follow the endless stream of Usain Bolt news, you likely already know that he got nervous meeting two people -- Barack Obama and Beyoncé.

But you might not know the story of a woman from whom Bolt saw an email, asking him to message her parents. Her mother was not in good health. Bolt wrote them, and about two days later the mother died.

“The daughter writes back and said, listen to me, she died with a smile on her face,” Bolt said in an extra piece from his upcoming film, “I Am Bolt.” “That was one of the most massive moments of my life to know that they died happy and died having their dream come true.”

“I Am Bolt” is released in cinemas Monday, on Digital HD on Tuesday, and on DVD Dec. 6.
