U.S. skiers David Wise and Aaron Blunck survived the men’s ski halfpipe qualifying runs so now they hope to land on the podium for the final round, which begins at 12:30 p.m. ET.

Canada’s Justin Dorey might be the favorite, as he notched the highest score in qualifying with a 91.60 mark and is the world’s No. 1-ranked halfpipe skier. Wise came in second at 88.40 and remains a credible medal threat.

Blunck was the 12th and final competitor to make the final with a 72.00 on his second run, barely making it to this point. While that makes him an underdog, this has been an Olympics full of surprises.

Twelve skiers go through two runs apiece with the best single run counting as each skier’s top score. This is the event’s Winter Olympics debut.
