World Figure Skating Championships pairs free skate, women’s short program start orders

The World Figure Skating Championships continue with the pairs free skate and women’s short program in Saitama, Japan, on Thursday, 13 hours ahead of Eastern Time.

To minimize sleep deprivation, here’s a list of key skaters and when they’re scheduled to take the ice:

Pairs Free Skate – Wednesday night/Thursday morning ET
10:53 p.m. — Felicia Zhang/Nate Bartholomay (14th after the short program)
11:42 p.m. — Marissa Castelli/Simon Shnapir (11th after short program)
12:53 a.m. — Aliona Savchenko/Robin Szolkowy (1st after short program)
1:01 a.m. — Ksenia Stolbova/Fedor Klimov (3rd after short program)
1:10 a.m. -- Meagan Duhamel/Eric Radford (2nd after short program)

Women’s short program – Thursday morning ET
4:37 a.m. — Polina Edmunds (2014 Olympics, ninth place)
6:19 a.m. — Mao Asada (two-time world champion from Japan)
6:38 a.m. — Carolina Kostner (2014 Olympic bronze medalist from Italy)
6:51 a.m. — Gracie Gold (2014 Olympics, fourth place)
7:05 a.m. — Ashley Wagner (2014 Olympics, seventh place)
7:18 a.m. -- Yulia Lipnitskaya (2014 Olympics, fifth place)
