Bryce Harper fires up crowd at Wells Fargo Center, rings ceremonial Liberty Bell before Sixers vs. Bucks

Perhaps, after Bryce Harper has been a Phillie for 12 or 13 years, Harpermania will die down.

But it's not happening anytime soon.

The Phillies' rightfielder fired up the crowd at Wells Fargo Center before the Sixers tipped off against the Bucks on Thursday night, ringing the team's ceremonial Liberty Bell before the game. Not that it was necessary to encourage the crowd to be loud, but, after giving the bell a few hard rings, Harper waved his arms and shouted, "Let's go! Come on!" (See video above.)

Harper is 8 for 16 with three homers and seven walks for the 4-1 Phillies, who play the Twins on Friday night at Citizens Bank Park at 7:05 p.m. on NBCSP.

The new guy is fitting in to Philly just fine.
