Cameras caught Joel Embiid with a very funny, NSFW moment in the Hawks game

Joel Embiid is a national treasure.

The big fella had himself a career night against the Hawks, pouring in a new personal high of 49 points, as well as delivering a career high in absurdity.

And you may not have spotted his latest antic.

In the final moments of Monday's game, Kevin Huerter of the Hawks swiped the ball from Embiid, who was trying to dribble it out, to which Embiid promptly responded with a um, bird of his own.

Check it out in the video above.

Here’s a closer look.

While we don’t typically condone this sort of behavior, it is pretty hilarious of a response from Embiid on his career-high night. He did in fact apologize for his behavior later in his postgame interview with Serena Winters.

“I also want to say sorry for what I did at the end of the game," Embiid said. "Ya’ll probably saw that on TV, I am sorry.”

His postgame walk-off interview also happened to include some expletives, which he again ... apologized for. You can watch that one above or read his quote right here.

Never stop being you, Embiid.

We appreciate your apologies Embiid, and we appreciate you as a human.
