Jimmy Butler leaves Sixers-Pistons game with groin injury

Just as the Sixers seemed to be getting healthy, another big piece goes down.

Jimmy Butler left Monday night’s game against the Pistons with a strained groin and did not return. Butler played just nine minutes and was 0 for 3.

The news is unfortunate as Joel Embiid (rest) and rookie Landry Shamet (lower back) played after both being “questionable” heading into tonight’s action. The team also finally has a healthy Wilson Chandler and Mike Muscala up and running.

We're still awaiting more information on Butler from the team.
